to a Planning Application for a Gypsy Site on the edge
of a Conservation Village in Northamptonshire |

MJM Planning
was appointed by a Community Action Group to review
and object to a planning application to develop a
residential Gypsy site close to a Northamptonshire
village. The site was situated in a sensitive countryside
location designated as a special landscape area. MJM
Planning formulated a comprehensive report which provided
a thorough critique of the proposed development. Following
submission of MJM Planning's report to the Local Council,
their Planning Officers recommended that the proposal
should be refused. In the face of this the applicant
withdrew his application, much to the relief of the
local community.
