MJM Planning was approached by the North Northamptonshire Joint Planning Policy Unit to provide consultancy to them for the Examination into their Core Spatial Strategy.

The Unit are pioneering a joint authority approach to the development of strategic planning policy within the North Northamptonshire Growth Area covering the Growth Towns of Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough.

Following the Pre-Examination Meeting, Mick provided advice on the Examination process and drafted 2 major Response Statements for the Unit to the Further Written Statements submitted by objectors/representors on Green Infrastructure/Strategic Gaps and Gypsy/Traveller matters. He also provided advice to the Unit on their Response Statements on Housing Delivery matters.

This work was completed to a very demanding timetable.
