Lawful Development Certificate for Residential Use of a Curtilage Buildings to a Dwellinghouse in the Open Countryside, North Yorkshire

MJM Planning was appointed by a householder to gain a Lawful Development Certificate to enable an outbuilding in their residential curtilage to be used for purposes incidental to the dwellinghouse, including its use as additional accomodation for visiting friends and relatives. This is a complicated area of planning law and the client wished to avoid the local planning authority trying to take enforcement action.
Mick complied all the evidence necessary to prove the lawfulness of the use and prepared and submitted a robust application. The Council granted the Certificate and the client uses the outbuilding as required with total peace of mind.
