Appraisal for a Replacement House in Green Belt, West

MJM Planning
was appointed by a landowner to advise on the prospects
of residential development on a greenfield countryside
plot in the Green Belt outside Leeds. In this case,
given prevailing planning policies, the characteristics
of the site and the personal circumstances of the
owner, the study concluded that there was limited
potential for a replacement. The owner was grateful
to receive straightforward advice at an early stage,
preventing wasted time, money and effort in pursuing
a proposal which would not be feasible.
