Planning Enforcement Appeal, Single Dwelling, Wetherby, West Yorkshire

MJM Planning was appointed by a local house builder to represent his company at a public hearing following the serving of an Enforcement Notice, Stop Notice and Temporary Stop Notice concerning the erection of a new luxury house in an exclusive suburb of Wetherby. The local planning authority alleged that the development was being built in the wrong position.
Mick attended the hearing and put forward the client’s Planning case to the Government Inspector. The Council lost the case and the enforcement action was dropped. Mick’s client could once again sleep soundly with the threat of demolition safely averted.
